The Senior Manager, Product Operational Delivery manages a team supporting delivery of core ACT* products. The Senior Manager, Product Operational Delivery manages the delivery of assessment programs, contributes to the strategic direction of program operations, and serves as a subject matter expert in product delivery.

About the Team

The Product Operational Delivery team works closely together as well as across the organization with a focus on delivering successful testing experiences for the suite of products ACT offers.

The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary in the range of $75,000 to $90,000. ACT manages salaries within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity. The position is not incentive eligible.

Location: This is a remote position

What you will be working on:

    Lead a team of individual contributors with varying levels of independence. Guiding and motivating the team to perform at a high level with strong customer support and a focus on service with the goal of departmental and contractual success.
  • Balance tactical delivery of assessment and learning programs with big-picture thinking about future-state of programs and products.
  • Support the implementation of assessment programs by ensuring processes are up-to-date, communication within and across teams is accurate and timely, and all operational deliverables are planned for.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across ACT to develop future-state programs/processes and contribute to the strategic direction of ACT's product portfolio.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert contributor to RFP and custom contract solutioning. Use creative thinking to meet customized needs while ensuring resources are in place to deliver on contractual functionality.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external). Serve as an escalation point for operational issues.

This could be the job for you if you have (minimum requirements):

  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible operational delivery, or related experience
  • Previous experience and demonstrated success leading, managing, and building teams
  • Experience with large-scale assessment testing
  • Ability to develop team members to grow and expand their skills and abilities
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and work effectively with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
  • Demonstrated strong prioritization and organization skills that includes ability to balance near-term delivery needs with long-term strategic priorities
  • Takes initiative and uses self-starter approach, ability to multi-task, proactively anticipates and acts on information and details needed, willingness and ability to learn
  • Is accountable, takes responsibility and follows through on commitments
  • Prioritizes needs and experiences of customers and puts them at center of decision making
  • Ability to manage change and navigate positively in an environment experiencing change at a fast pace
  • Skills and knowledge required for success in this position attained through experience and education (Bachelor's degree in Business or related area of study), or a combination of both
