Job/Internship Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the content marketing department. The assignments are related to the academic major and the degree of the Intern. The assignments may include conducting research. As possible, a reasonable balance will be made between the intern's learning goals and the specific assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Social Media Trafficking: organizing and trafficking of social media posts that are used for webinar and e-book promotions, involves routing assets for approvals to both internal and external agency stakeholders

    Webinar Execution: coordination and assignment of tasks for internal and external stakeholders (pre and post webinar), Update existing webinar landing pages as needed

    Tagging: develop UTM tagging, vanity URLs and QR codes for campaign tracking for various projects

    Video Optimization: Optimize videos (adding captions, chapters, links and CTAs etc..), routing videos for approval, working with media team on execution

    Photo Search: Search for, source and upload imagery to be used for e-books

    Research: Research topics to be used for webinars, e-books and other projects

    Invoices: Keep invoice log for the department up to date, follow up on any issues with AP for outstanding freelance paperwork and invoices

    Content Calendar: Keep content calendar up to date, daily tasks (Asana, google shared documents and Smartsheet)

  • Performs a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook)

  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • Knowledge of Smartsheet and Asana considered a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE:

No experience required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted hourly rate for this internship position is based on both your educationand location.

Candidates possessing up to and including a high school diploma can receive either $15 or $16/hr depending on location.

Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent can receive either $18 or $20/hr depending on location.

Candidates possessing a bachelor's degree or equivalent and currentlypursuing an advanced, post-graduate degree (i.e., MS, MBA, JD, etc.) can receive either $22 or $24/hr depending on location.
