Position Summary;

The Director of Client Accounting manages the firm's monthly billing and projections processes. This position promotes collaboration by directing workflows between the various accounting segments. The director engineers a career trajectory for their team by establishing clear pathways for growth and opportunities for skill enhancement.

As a Director of Client Accounting you will:

  • Oversee the workflow and performance of the billing team, including providing ongoing performance feedback and participating in the annual staff performance evaluation process
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration in order to unify the department
  • Responsible for approving all assigned expense reports
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Client Accounting to establish and implement standard operating procedures and departmental policies
  • Manage and assess process improvement plans and projects to ensure the completion of milestones
  • Provide ongoing insight into monthly billing performance by measuring key performance indicators
  • Create training platform for our billing specialists so they understand all duties for their role

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least ten (10) years of related work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis concepts, frameworks, and principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

Expected Pay Range in New York, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley - $220,300 - $305,100

Expected Pay Range in Los Angeles - $210,800 - $291,800

Expected Pay Range in Orange County - $201,200 - $278,600

Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
